Fear is a powerful force
Faith is a powerful source.

God Grant me the ability
To forgive others
To accept forgiveness from others

Though the road I will travel
Is dark and unknown
I know that thou art with me
And I shall never walk alone.

Embrace life’s negatives and positives
Their unification is their secret
Alone they are weak
Together they are powerful
Harness their unified power

Be thankful for those
Who hate us and love us
For they are the ones who make us
They forever indent our soul
And define us and make us grow
God purposely put them into our lives
Everyone else momentarily or accidently passed our way

Negative people push me
Positive people pull me
I’m damned without
These pushes and pulls in my life
For without them I will stagnate
I will stagnate and I will die

I behold a man and I see only a tree
A tree that will change with every season
It will be permanently enriched or scarred as it changes
It will grow strong and tall or weak and crooked
The roots, unseen, will determine its growth and outcome
Never underestimate good roots saturated in faith and honor
Never underestimate evil roots saturated in power and arrogance
Never underestimate man and what man can do
For the roots, unseen, will define and nurture or kill the tree
What kind of tree will this man be? What kind of tree am I?

Adulthood is overrated
Childhood is underrated
We spend 18 years getting to one
And the rest of our lives wishing for the other
Unfortunately we cannot comprehend our loss until it is gone

I do not count my worth as rich or poor
For rich or poor always has a monetary value attached to it
Money and possessions cannot define me or my value
I am rich in everything that is important enough to keep
I am poor in everything that is important enough to discarded
I keep only what is small enough to fit into my heart
And only that which is big enough to be worth keeping

We look ahead just far enough to keep dreaming
We look behind just far enough to keep moving
When we stop dreaming and moving we die
For that is where our journey ends
Somewhere between dreaming and moving

I fell in love with him in a moment
I grieved him for what seemed like eternity
I would have considered my grief a waste of time
But it was love that created the grief
And love is never a waste of time
Not even on him
For I know
He loved and grieved me too

Good and evil is in the human heart
It takes evil to embrace good and good to combat evil
No matter how painful, an honest heart never lies to itself
It knows that all humans are capable of good and evil
Its the two edged sword that battles within us
Victory can only come through honesty
Its the golden key to the liberation of the human heart
