Laura will always be my daughter. She came into my life as my foster-mentor daughter. Her half sister, Jaky, came into my life at the same time. They were late into their teen years but they filled my home and life. I had just lost Kevin a couple months before they came to live with me. I had met Jaky first, and because of this meeting, I knew God had sent these girls my way. I am blessed to have them share my life. Laura was in college when she met her baby’s father, DeShawn Baker, and they had Kayden. He’s a cutie. Jaky was in the delivery room with Laura and DeShawn when Kayden was born.
