Judy Yang and Blong Thao

Judy came into my life when she was in kindergarten with my daughter, Melissa. They were friends and she just grew up in my life and home too. I love her family. They have taught me so much about the Hmong Culture. Her parents remind me of my own parents in many ways. In Judy’s senior year of high school her parents moved into another school district, so Judy came to live with us that year to graduate with her classmates she had started kindergarten with. I really enjoyed having her with us that year. I was so blessed her parents agreed that she could stay with us for the months that she did.

Judy met Blong while in college and married. They later had their son, Haven. I am so blessed to have them share my life in such a special way.
